Hollywood Media District –

The Hollywood Media District was formed in the year 2000 and initially comprised 220 commercial properties.  The BID renewed in 2005 for another 10 years.  The renewed BID expanded to the west and now includes over 300 commercial properties.  The HMD has an Executive Director, Operations Coordinator and a 17 member Board of Directors, as well as several committees.  The mission of the HMD is to maintain a clean and safe environment for visitors and workers in the area.

The Village at Sherman Oaks –

The Village at Sherman Oaks was established in 1999 with the mission of beautifying and keeping the Sherman Oaks area clean.  The BID renewed in 2004 for an additional 5 years and maintained its original boundaries.  The Village is comprised of 66 property owners along Ventura Boulevard and Van Nuys Boulevard.

Encino Commons –

Encino Commons was approved by City Council in August of 2000.  After completing all beautification and streetscape improvements the BID renewed in 2005 as a maintenance district in order to keep up the area.  The BID is comprised of 61 property owners along a 1-mile stretch of Ventura Boulevard.
